Nayantara Parpia
Nayantara is truly the “Mother” of our Tridhara family. Pooja Bhattad
Pooja has been an integral part of Tridhara since its inception and is one of our core faculty members and senior performers. She began her Kathak journey at the age of 8 under Guru Smt. Priyanka Abhyankar in Nagpur, completing her Visharad Purna from Akhil Bharatiya Gandharva Mahavidyalaya. She later continued her advanced training under Guru Nayantara Parpia at Tridhara.
A dedicated artist of the Lucknow Gharana, she holds a Master’s in Performing Arts (Kathak) from Bharati Vidyapeeth, Pune, where she graduated as a Gold Medalist and University Topper. She has also been a Post Diploma student at Kathak Kendra, Delhi, training under Guru Smt. Malti Shyam ji.
In addition to her dance training, Pooja holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication from Symbiosis, Pune, and has completed a Diploma in Theatre Acting, which enhances her narrative and expressive performance style. She is the founder of Pravah Dance Productions, through which she teaches over 50 students globally.
Pooja is a senior CCRT scholarship holder under Pt. Jaikishan Maharaj ji and has performed across India and the USA at prestigious venues like the Sangeet Natak Akademi, Kathak Kendra, and Rasik Ranjani Sabha. She has choreographed and performed several original works including Laya Bhakti, Samay Ka Chakra, and Hope — each exploring powerful themes through Kathak.
Deeply passionate about using the arts for social change, Pooja has led workshops for Teach For India, various NGOs, and as a Baithak Foundation fellow. In 2022, she led Maitri — a 10-city Kathak workshop and performance tour across India.

Pooja Bhattad


Mayuri is a dedicated Kathak artist and a disciple of Guru Pt. Jaikishan Maharaj ji. She completed her Post Diploma in Kathak from the prestigious Kathak Kendra, Delhi, and holds a Master’s degree in Kathak as well as a Master’s in Sanskrit. She has also completed the Alankar Purna from Akhil Bharatiya Gandharva Mahavidyalaya. She has been a part of numerous group productions under the direction of her Guru Pt. Jaikishan Maharaj ji, performing at festivals such as Kathak Mahotsav (Delhi), Basant Utsav (Delhi), Chandigarh Kathak Utsav, and Udaipur Holi Utsav between 2012 and 2016. Mayuri has also performed extensively under the direction of Yasmin Singh, presenting group pieces at prestigious events around the country. As a soloist, Mayuri has performed at Malava Utsav (Indore), Kashi Navaratri Utsav by Sanskar Bharti (2021), Navaratri and Mahashivratri Utsavs in Kerala, and Uday Utsav in Pune (2023). She is a B-Grade Doordarshan artist and continues to grow as both a performer and teacher in the Kathak tradition.

Mayuri Vibhute

Mayuri is a dedicated Kathak artist and a disciple of Guru Pt. Jaikishan Maharaj ji. She completed her Post Diploma in Kathak from the prestigious Kathak Kendra, Delhi, and holds a Master’s degree in Kathak as well as a Master’s in Sanskrit. She has also completed the Alankar Purna from Akhil Bharatiya Gandharva Mahavidyalaya.

Rama Thakar
Rama joined Tridhara in 2017 and is now one of the senior-most students and performers in the dance company. Having completed her high school education in Muscat, Oman, Rama then moved to Pune to pursue her bachelors in business administration from Symbiosis College before turning to Kathak full-time. At Tridhara, Rama dons many hats! She currently specializes in teaching intermediate-level children and adults. She also handles a lot of the administrative duties at the institute. She has performed in every “Nrityanjali” show since 2018, a solo in “Prayaas” 2019, at “Navaarambha”, with the troupe at Rasika Ranjani Sabha in Chennai, Bombay Sappers Bicentenary celebration in Pune, Pune Kabir Festival, Diwali Pahat at Omkareshwar Temple, and multiple events for Viman Nagar Womens Club. She is also an avid singer and takes lessons in Hindustani vocal music from Dr. Ankita Deole.

Usha is our in-house posture, physiotherapy, and pilates specialist. She has worked with a number of our students, both in group workshops as well as one-on-one for personalized corrective exercises. As a physiotherapist, she has 15 years of experience. Her areas of interest are posture and gait assessments. She likes to blend her physiotherapy knowledge with pilates and yoga exercises, creating the perfect balance for dancers and fitness-enthusiasts like us. Usha has studied physiotherapy at the Institute of Rehab and Medical Sciences (IRMAS). She has received her pilates training certification from Pilates Institute of America and Balance Body. She is also an Anatomy in Motion (AIM) certified instructor.

Sayali is a German language expert and hobby artist with a deep-rooted passion for Indian art forms. She trained in Bharatanatyam under Guru Smt. Meera Pauskar in Chh. Deepthi joined Tridhaara in 2021 and is now a senior student and performer. She started her Kathak journey 7 years ago under Tushar and Pooja Bhatt in Bangalore, before joining Tridhara as an online student. She has performed at the Nrityanjali student showcase, Neemrana Fort Palace and Bengaluru Ganesh Utsav among others. She has a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Engineering and works in the tech industry in Bangalore. She looks forward eagerly to her Pune trips to Tridhara.

Deepthi Nandakumar

Deepthi joined Tridhaara in 2021 and is now a senior student and performer. She started her Kathak journey 7 years ago under Tushar and Pooja Bhatt in Bangalore, before joining Tridhara as an online student. She has performed at the Nrityanjali student showcase, Neemrana Fort Palace and Bengaluru Ganesh Utsav among others.
She has a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Engineering and works in the tech industry in Bangalore. She looks forward eagerly to her Pune trips to Tridhara.

Swarali Teke

Swarali Teke joined Tridhara in 2019 and is among the senior students. Having spent her early years in Abu Dhabi and Qatar, Swarali moved to India to pursue her passion for design, completing her Bachelor's in Product Design from MIT Institute of Design. She currently works as a visual designer, balancing her professional career alongside her deep-rooted love for Kathak. At Tridhara, Swarali began her teaching journey with the youngest batch of students. She has performed in every “Nrityanjali” production since 2020, a solo in “Prayaas” 2022, with the troupe at Rasika Ranjani Sabha in Chennai, Pune Kabir Festival, and had the privilege of being a part of Tara Didi’s first dance company tour, “Kathaa Tarangini”, performing in Lucknow, Ayodhya, and Delhi. With a strong foundation in both classical dance and design, Swarali continues to explore the interplay of movement and aesthetics, finding joy in every rhythm.

Usha Rawat

Past Faculty
Siddhi is a Kathak dancer-researcher from New Delhi. A disciple of Pandit Jai Kishan Maharaj (son of Pt. Birju Maharaj ji), she is an alumna of Kathak Kendra Delhi. She also holds a master's degree in arts and aesthetics from Jawaharlal Nehru University. Siddhi has performed at a number of prestigious festivals and venues. Some of the most memorable ones include Kathak Mahotsav, Vasantotsav, Sopaan Festival, Neemrana Fort Palace, ICCR tour to Brunei, and Sarangdeva Samaroha, among others. She has been a recipient of various research grants as well as a dance scholarship from the Government of Delhi. As an educator, she has designed dance curricula for start-ups and select schools of the Delhi Government. As part of her research work, she is focusing on Kathak in Bombay Cinema and is the founder of @allthingskathak, an online Kathak dance community. Her work has been featured on The Hindu and Scroll.in, among others.
Siddhi is currently teaching the adults foundation-level batch and the advanced-level teens batch at Tridhara. Siddhi enjoys teaching, exploring movement and music, and believes that joy and a sense of humour belong as much in a dance class as serious dedication.
Siddhi Goel
Siddhi is a Kathak dancer-researcher from New Delhi. A disciple of Pandit Jai Kishan Maharaj (son of Pt. Birju Maharaj ji), she is an alumna of Kathak Kendra Delhi.
